Back!

Our family is home from the CAPE Convention!  It was a bunch or work, but we all enjoy it. (somehow, my family was recruited to do registration.....) :D   Caleb wasn't old enough to go this year, so he had my Dad's mom all to himself- a treat for the youngest child in the family.  They had a lot of fun without us.  :) 

We changed a few things this year for the convention.  First is the location.  We changed churches.  This ones is really great (I think) for the convention.  The church was really helpful and wanted us there so we made things work.  We also changed when the graduation was.  Instead of Friday night it was Saturday afternoon.  I think that was really helpful.  (another nice things about this church was that there was more room for friends and family than the last church)  Since Friday night was open they had one of the guest speakers talk, and they had the homeschool showcase that night.  I am rambling about all this so that I can say that my family got to go to the evening programs. A nice break for us!  The speakers were wonderful!  I think everyone made it to at least one workshop during our time.  We just took turns on who went when.  :D

We had a bunch of great help this year (as always!)  It was neat this year as we had several young ladies who had graduated, and a few that are in high school.  I know as a young lady it is hard to find areas to serve, so they got to serve and we got help!!! :D  

We are all pretty tired and have just been taking it easy.  We have a busy schedule so it was nice to get a break in. 

Drama is this Monday and we are trying to squeeze in some more hours before our performances!  It has been neat to do this, but we are feeling a bit like we are drowning....  Thankfully we have a bunch of moms willing to help and pitch in so I know we will get it done and everything will go well!!! 

Speaking of which, I had better go do some work for Drama....
